Jim Beddly, is a Texas Ranger sent to investigate a murder in Mafia, Texas which leads him to Alpine, Texas and more murders. He meets many people that could be guilty. Where a young woman tries to kill him not knowing who he is. There are all kinds of twist and turns throughout the story that leads to the conclusion with two falling in love.
