The Nine

The Nine is a crime story in the old school tradition. We have a 25-year-old cold case unearthed in the basement of a Catholic school, with a police captain; two detectives, one fresh from medical leave and one rookie; a young forensic scientist; and a blind priest who was brought back home to help in the dissolution of church property - all attempting to solve it. Add to them, a corrupt mayor who would be governor; a crooked Bishop; his Italian acolyte; and the mayor's daughter, still grieving over the murder of her fiancé and their priest. Are these The Nine?
