The History of Magic

Renowned scholar of the mystical occult Eliphas Levi offers a lengthy and thorough history of magic, sorcery, witchcraft and alchemy from ancient times to the nineteenth century. His popularity was greatest in his native Paris, together with various artistic and intellectual communities in London.
