The Dog with the Crooked Tail

The Dog with the Crooked Tail illustrates the power of love to heal: Buddy, the main character, is changed by the love of young students - and by the love of a certain tiny, spotted dog - whom he meets at the end of the story. Buddy is a small rescue dog with an insatiable appetite for food - and love. On his morning walk in a schoolyard with his owner, Buddy sneaks into a backpack. Inside the school, Chloe, the owner of the bag, hangs it on her cloakroom hook. Buddy devours Chloe's lunch, and hops out wearing her polka-dotted shirt. Chloe's classmate, Fred, lures Buddy into Ms. Kibblesworth's classroom. Chaos ensues as Buddy feasts on student lunches and runs amok in the school!
