The Case of the Vanishing Emerald

In the follow-up to The Case of the Stolen Sixpence , Maisie and her canine sidekick, Eddie, are are itching to use their sleuthing skills again. So when up-and-coming actress Sarah Massey loses a priceless emerald--a gift from her mysterious beau--Maisie and Eddie are on the case. But as they investigate the suspects and unexplained events unfolding in the theater, Maisie realizes nothing is as it seems in this world of make-believe.
