Dr. Wilson has influenced generations of the Wake Forest community with his courage, faith, and vision. His belief in what Wake Forest can become reminds us of the importance of liberal arts education and the sustaining power of the intellectual life. It is fitting that he has published this book of eulogies that memorialize many of the faculty and staff who made the pilgrimage to Wake Forest, or joined its mission later in Winston-Salem.
