This volume provides a comprehensive critique and review of more than two decades of crossdisciplinary research on women in Latin America and the Caribbean. Rather than remaining within strict disciplinary constraints, however, these studies reflect the inclusiveness and cross-fertilization of women's and gender scholarship.
