Adelaide White always looked at the world in rose-colored glasses. She even had a tattoo on her wrist of a rose with tiny handwriting that spelled, La Vie En Rose-- translation, "Life through rosy glasses". She wanted to remind herself how beautiful life was and to always remain a positive outlook. Her mother taught her this and Adelaide grew fondly of roses and living in a state of bliss, regardless of what was happening around her. And a lot had happened in her life-- things that would make any human rattle. But not for Adelaide, she was special.Adelaide lived above her parents family-owned shop, The Turning Page. Which was tucked away in the hustling and bustling of New York City. She knew life was full of mystery and stories, romance and fleeting moments. But how little did she know that one rose could change everything. She was certain that three things were absolutely true.First, she had a knack for investigating.Second, there was a part of her, and she didn't know how vigorous that part might be, that she still loved Jay.Third, every family has skeletons.Adelaide knew that every single person in New York had a secret and often secrets surface one way or another.
