Fooled that you live in a democracy?

A democracy that allows narcissists, sycophants and megalomaniacs into positions of power is a path to ruin. Consider a U.S. senator who - on the Ukrainian crisis - suggested 'a first-use nuclear attack [against Russia]'. Can you believe it? That's why it is important to critically scrutinize our political system that allows these types to display their developmental disorders. What are actually the values and purposes of our system? Are 'democracy and free speech' really true ways to 'Life & Harmony'? Or is our system a facade democracy, driven by invisible rulers in banks, multinationals and other money centers that have no purpose other than advancing the unholy goals of the owners of Wealth?
