Argonautica

Apollonius Rhodius's Argonautica, composed in the third century BC, is the Greek epic account of Jason’s quest for the golden fleece. It greatly influenced Roman authors such as Catullus, Virgil, and Ovid, and was imitated by Valerius Flaccus.
