Frank de Zanger studied physical geography in Amsterdam. At the end of his studies he took a postgraduate course Scientific Journalism at the Institute for Press Studies (University of Amsterdam) and wrote articles for newspapers and magazines. Later on he started writing short stories and novels. He got inspired during his frequent travels around the globe as a consultant in hydrogeology and environmental engineering at the most diverse and often exotic parts of the world. Frank de Zanger also worked as Environmental Officer for the Holland America Line and sailed some years on their cruise ships. He combined his work as consultant with writing. More books will follow. Frank de Zanger wrote the thriller ‘ms ZEEPAARD’ (2022), novel ‘GEZIEN DE GEKTE’ (2014), novel ‘DE RING’ (2010), the first eco-thriller in the Dutch language: ‘NOBEL WAS HIJ’ (1999), novel ‘EEN ZEE VAN ZACHT GERUIS’ (1997) and the volume of illustrated short stories ‘WERELD-IMPRESSIES VAN EEN JETPLANE-NOMADE’ (2000).
